Kindred Souls is a Movement Festival
In realizing that with all of the events taking place that use the words festival and carnival, many of the younger people today think that all festivals are great big raves with rides and other activities. These rides are great for where they are, but not at Kindred Souls Healing Festival (KSF). Kindred Souls is a healing and creative festival with music and interactive workshops. It is a gathering of kindred souls, a gathering of love, light, and healing. A gathering where rides and the like take us away from our spiritual goals; therefore, we use different methods in order to have an experience. We believe in recycling materials for use at the event. Further, this is an “Attendee Creates the Festival” meaning that whatever they create with art is used at each successive event. Kindred Souls is more than a festival/gathering, it is a movement!
FESTIVAL: A gathering for a celebration
This is an all-age gathering. If you are under the age of 18, your parent(s) must be present.
Kindred Souls Healing Festival (KSF) uses different modalities for the intention of healing.
MUSIC (vibrations ~ hearing & feeling). The stage “Portal 1111” embraces 3 genres…House, Techno and Trance. The stage “Synchronicity” brings us UK Hard and Break Beats. The stage “Vibz Alive” plays a host of genres such as Reggae, Reggaeton, Classic Rock, Ol Skool, and other classic music. We are building a community for the purpose of co-creation and the question is; can this community get together a Bass stage (ReVrBr888)? In theory, this stage will consist of Dubstep, Riddim, and Drum and Bass.
ART (visual aesthetics ~ seeing) Art through participation as well as representation.
INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS (creation & participation ~ feeling & being). There will be a mixing workshop to learn how to spin. Fingers crossed for a production workshop. Volunteers, please send a message to kindredsoulsfestival@gmail.com There will be Yoga and other healing workshops.
VENDORS from crystal Jewelry, essential oils to vegan food. Tarot reading and more, all at the Vendor’s Market
HEALING ARTS PRACTITIONERS ~ Reiki healing, Crystal healing, Yoga and more.
HEALING & SACRED CEREMONIES ~ Drum & prayer circles, Sound healing, and more.
CONSCIOUS & OTHER SPEAKERS ~ Sending gratitude to Mother Earth, Permaculture, Chakra discussion, and exercises. Looking for Tiny Home and learning to live off-grid speakers. Please send a message to kindredsoulsfestival@gmail.com
The goal is to PLEASE THE SOUL (the real you) and its temporary vehicle (THE HUMAN BODY), in order to get the most of THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE by feeling GROUNDED while EXPERIENCING HIGHER LEVELS OF CONSCIOUSNESS.
Follow KSF using the floating social media icons and please share. Make this movement spreads like WILDFIRE! Updates are provided on all social media.
The “Raw Beginnings” Pictures of the venue are below. This is Spicer Ranch. We have 320 acres to play, heal, co-create, camp and share love and light. I fell in love with the venue in May of 2018 at SN-RG! SN-RG is a Burning Man Regional (Southern Nevada Regional [Burn]). More pictures will be added before and after the festi. Since this is a healing and co-creation festival, you are part of the build and will see it here.
Here is the Venue’s website: https://spicerranchvenue.com/events

No stages will be built. The art created by the attendees will be used as part of the event’s props each year. See here
The Build is Coming (Recycle Friendly)
We’ve been looking at ideas. They are posted below and you will know which ones we choose when we film the build!
Kindred Souls Healing Festival (KSF) is a leave no trace event. When you come, pack it in and when you leave, pack it out. KSF is inspired by and does follow most of the 10 principles of Burning Man as well as KSFs own spiritual principles. They are all listed below. Use this link to learn more about the 10 principles of burning man.
I am a believer in the 10 Principles of Burning Man, I am aware that I did not create the principles and will never take credit for them but have lived these principles throughout my life as they are a natural part of who I am and is why I identified with them immediately. After attending SNRG (Southern Nevada Regional Burn) in 2018, I fell in love with the Burner lifestyle (as it resonates with all that I am). I have adopted the principles for KSF with less focus on one because I do believe in advertising this healing event to bring the all-age fest back into the light!
KSF IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE BURNING MAN PROJECT, WE ARE TWO SEPARATE EVENTS.
Radical Inclusion
Anyone may be a part of Burning Man. We welcome and respect the stranger. No prerequisites exist for participation in our community.
Gifting
Burning Man is devoted to acts of gift-giving. The value of a gift is unconditional. Gifting does not contemplate a return or an exchange for something of equal value.
Decommodification
In order to preserve the spirit of gifting, our community seeks to create social environments that are unmediated by commercial sponsorships, transactions, or advertising. We stand ready to protect our culture from such exploitation. We resist the substitution of consumption for participatory experience.
KSF difference: commercial sponsorships for art for the attendees is completely acceptable to KSF. As this is an all-age festival and the focus is healing through music, art, interactive workshops and co-creation, there should be a multitude of art supplies for all. We are trying to make an awareness of creation and co-creation. I have heard many times that art and music may be removed from the school system (I do not support the school system) and that is a shame and awareness takes place by using many avenues. Sponsorship comes in many forms. As the festival will be built by community members, we consider certain members (sponsors) part of the KSF community because we can exchange value to each other.
Radical Self-reliance
Burning Man encourages the individual to discover, exercise and rely on his or her inner resources.
Radical Self-expression
Radical self-expression arises from the unique gifts of the individual. No one other than the individual or a collaborating group can determine its content. It is offered as a gift to others. In this spirit, the giver should respect the rights and liberties of the recipient.
Communal Effort
Our community values creative cooperation and collaboration. We strive to produce, promote and protect social networks, public spaces, works of art, and methods of communication that support such interaction.
Civic Responsibility
We value civil society. Community members who organize events should assume responsibility for public welfare and endeavor to communicate civic responsibilities to participants. They must also assume responsibility for conducting events in accordance with local, state and federal laws.
Leaving No Trace
Our community respects the environment. We are committed to leaving no physical trace of our activities wherever we gather. We clean up after ourselves and endeavor, whenever possible, to leave such places in a better state than when we found them.
Participation
Our community is committed to a radically participatory ethic. We believe that transformative change, whether in the individual or in society, can occur only through the medium of deeply personal participation. We achieve being through doing. Everyone is invited to work. Everyone is invited to play. We make the world real through actions that open the heart.
Immediacy
Immediate experience is, in many ways, the most important touchstone of value in our culture. We seek to overcome barriers that stand between us and a recognition of our inner selves, the reality of those around us, participation in society, and contact with a natural world exceeding human powers. No idea can substitute for this experience.
KSF ADDED Principles
Self-Reflection
KSF is a healing festival and self-reflection through meditation or any other means provided is transformative. All events have goals for the experience their attendees have and remember. Ours is transformation. The goal is to live in a soul state. In other words, we as souls stop babysitting the ego and meet our inner beings so that soul and ego live through a soul state rather than a state of ego. During this event and hopefully after, you will realize that you can only serve one master. Spirit VS ego? The meshing of spirit and ego!
Co-Creation
The stages and many other designs will be co-created by the KSF community and its attendees. “WE GOT THIS” We are creators and that is what must be embraced. Naturally, we will buy products to design our festi but in no way can a commercial-stage enter our sacred gathering. To look at something that someone else built means that we are not creative and that we feel what we build is not good enough. The memories and confidence that go into co-creation are unforgettable. The idea of a festival based on co-creation is that we co-create the entire festival.
Embracing The Human Experience:
This festival first and foremost is a tribute to the human experience. We are aware that we are divine beings living a human experience. We are all gifted and we all bring something to the table. We are equal; therefore, there is no one artist better than another. Different strokes for different folks. Just because one is called a headliner in society does not make him/her better. It means they are out in a space where they are seen and heard more. As we are all source energy experiencing human lives, we must see in others the beauty rather than faults. Contrast or duality is, it just is and we overcome that by knowing we are all equal and embrace the beauty in all.
Acceptance
I am not religious by any means. I am; however, spiritual. It is my opinion that religion is confining, demanding and institutional. I am not interested in the indoctrination of the societal powers that be. I am a free spirit and will spend the rest of this life with like-minded people. This does not mean that I do not accept religious people in my life or at events. I accept you for who you are but please do not cram religion down the throats of others. This is a healing (spiritually) festival. Those who attend must accept this.
